Wife to Paul, and Mum to Anna and Sam, Becky lives in east Manchester, where she enjoys leading worship at her local church; serving lunch at the local day centre; writing songs; and drinking coffee with friends.
Lizzie is married to Tom and has 3 children; Caleb (11), Joe (8) and Gracie (6). They have lived in inner city Manchester for many years and love it! Lizzie longs to see God’s kingdom come where they live and longs for her children, family and community to treasure Jesus above anything else.
Lizzie loves watching things grow, hatching new ideas, holidays by the sea and nights in watching a decent BBC drama on the TV.
Lizzie is also a member of the Captivated team and has been blown away again and again by the way God has used Captivated to encourage so many mums. It’s such a privilege to be a part of.
Mary is wife to Dave and mum to two young kids (6&7). If you want to watch her have an inner wrestle then ask her where home is; she has been serving Jesus in South Asia for three years but a big part of her heart is still in East Manchester. She is passionate about loving God and her neighbour wherever she is living, wanting to see people around her, especially her kids and other mums, grow in knowing Jesus and his love for them. She loves reading the Bible with other people, cooking curry, painting, family time, drinking chai with friends and anything with salted caramel in.
Ruth is a passionate follower of Jesus, a wife, mum of two, worship leader and a social entrepreneur. In 2018 Ruth helped pioneer The Hideaway – an educational play centre in Manchester with a big vision to use the bible and creative play to help children discover their own identity and value in Jesus. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Ruth is great at putting her crazy ideas and God-given dreams into action and bringing others along with her for the adventure. This has seen her lead an Eden team, run hundreds of events and develop all kinds of skills in pursuit of a desire to share Jesus in as many ways as possible, with as many people as possible.
