Captivated Conference FAQ’s

Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions:

1. Who is the conference for?
Captivated attracts young mums, but we welcome any mum of any age or circumstance, who want to grow and deepen their relationship with Jesus. The conference is attended by delegates from a wide range of church backgrounds and is open to all.

2. Do you provide childcare?
Short answer, no. During the conference we want mums to be able to relax and engage with God as much as possible and we therefore encourage delegates not to bring their children to enable them to have that space. As many mums have sparked the challenges of having their children in unfamiliar childcare we don’t provide any childcare at the conference. 

We provide a baby area with mats and toys in the main room for young babies and a separate quiet room with a video link-up for mums wanting to feed their babies in a separate space. We do however, want mums to feel comfortable feeding and caring for their babies in all the sessions of the conference.

3. Does the venue have access for people with disabilities?
The venue is mostly accessible for those who are using wheelchairs, one room used for seminars is on the first floor, with only stairs for access.

4. Is there car parking available?
At the venue for Captivated there is limited free car parking, we would recommend car sharing or using public transport. The venue has excellent links to use public transport, with a less than 5 minute walk to the venue.

5. Do you provide lunch?
No, we don’t provide lunch. Within short walking distance of the venue there are numerous shops, restaurants and cafes to provide delegates with a relaxing lunch experience in the middle of the day. Delegates are also very welcome to bring a packed lunch with them, or do a bring and share as a group.

6. Do you have items to purchase on the day?

We have a 10 of Those book stall, with a wide range of books available to purchase.

7. When can I arrive and book in?

The doors open to the venue at 9.30am. Registration can either be completed on your smart phone with the ticket app or by presenting a copy of your ticket (printed or on an email on your phone screen) which will be scanned. Tea and Coffee is available on arrival.
